Why are Slovenian real and financial companies in downfall?

Abstract:
Non-financial in financial companies in Slovenia experienced deep shock similar to the shock in economic policy on macro level leading to suffering of the whole society. The empirical analysis establishes that the crucial cause for downfall of companies was internal weakness in their corporate governance, which left them vulnerable to the external impact of global financial crisis.
